How We Work

At Figtek Industry, we make the process of purchasing your machine as straightforward and transparent as possible. From your first enquiry through to delivery, setup, and ongoing support, our team is here to guide you every step of the way.

1. Get in Touch

The first step is to contact our team so we can understand your requirements and recommend the right machine for your application, workflow, and budget.

You can email us at info@figtek.com.au
with details about the type of machine you are considering, your production needs, and any specific requirements. If you would prefer to speak with us directly, we also encourage you to give us a call and arrange a consultation or viewing of an active machine.

2. Confirm Your Machine

Once we understand your requirements, we will help you finalise the most suitable machine for your business. At this stage, we can discuss specifications, optional extras, and any important considerations to ensure the machine is the right fit for your needs.

Once everything is confirmed, we will issue your invoice.

3. Secure Your Order

To secure your machine and your place in the next shipment, a 30% deposit is required.

As shipping space and monthly machine allocations are limited, availability can fill quickly. Placing your deposit earlier helps secure your spot and can reduce overall waiting time for your machine.

4. Build, Calibration and Testing

Once your deposit has been received, your machine moves into production.

Depending on the size, model, and complexity of the machine, the build process generally takes 4 to 8 weeks. During this time, your machine will be built, calibrated, and tested to ensure it is ready for operation.

We also provide regular production updates along the way, including photographs and videos, so you can follow your machine’s progress with confidence. Before shipping, you will receive video footage of the machine in operation, including test runs or first cuts where applicable.

5. Shipping, Pickup or Delivery

Once your machine is completed and ready to leave the factory, we will contact you to arrange pickup or delivery.

The remaining 70% balance is payable prior to pickup or delivery. We unload our containers in Melbourne, and customers may collect their machine directly or arrange delivery if required.

If needed, we can also organise storage or delivery at an additional cost. Where suitable, we recommend using a crane truck for delivery, as this can assist with safe unloading and positioning of the machine at your site.

6. Setup and Commissioning

Once your machine arrives at its final location, the next step is setup and commissioning.

We recommend that any required electrical work or connections be carried out by a licensed electrician. Any relevant setup information, connection details, or machine-specific diagrams will be provided to assist with installation.

Our team is available to support you during this stage and can provide guidance by phone or email during business hours.

7. Ongoing Support

Our support does not end once your machine is delivered.

We are available during business hours to assist with general machine support via phone or email. If additional training is required for machine operation or software use, this can also be arranged at an additional cost.
