We initially started outsourcing CNC cuts to third parties — four-week wait times were unsustainable. So we imported our own machine. What arrived was oversized, poor quality, and missing key functions.

We upgraded it, listed it on eBay, and were overwhelmed by the response. That revealed an opportunity. Since then we've built deep expertise importing, upgrading and supporting premium machinery — so you get performance without the premium price tag.

Since January 2022, all Figtek machines are manufactured in our own factory in Victoria, Australia.
